Broderick manufacture a wide variety of heavy duty speed control devices in heavy duty environmentally protected robust housings, designed to suit heavy duty harsh industrial applications, or where operating conditions require an extra level of protection. Typical installations include steel manufacturing, rolling mills, quarries and mines: in fact, anywhere protection against physical damage, from impact, liquid and dust ingress and the atmosphere is a prerequisite.

All our units are available in industry standard housings and flange / shaft options with a range of mounting and wiring options to suit your existing installation and control configuration. Protection rating of up to IP68 is offered on all products.

Complete stainless steel units are also available.

Broderick offer a bespoke engineering service as we appreciate that standard products are not always suitable for your application. Often, these made to measure units cost no more than our standard products as there is little we haven’t encountered over the last 40 years.

We also have the capability of designing the required units to meet your exact requirements, which can often be supplied at the same price as standard units.

These units are suitable for harsh, heavy duty environments, where reliability is key.

All of our units come with a comprehensive 1-year warranty, and will run for between 8-10 years before we recommend a service. We regularly see installations where Broderick units have been running for more than 20 years and still providing accurate reliable service.
